NU HET ZOVER IS / NOW THAT IT'S HAPPENING (English below)
Met wat vertraging in de laatste week (best spannend), is het dan nu zover. Het meisje dat op de lagere school al lange opstellen schreef zoals De Schaatswedstrijd (zie foto), heeft nu een heus boek gepubliceerd. Wat een diepe vreugde geeft me dit. Op de achterkant staat: Zelfexpressie door schrijven, en daarmee lezers mogen inspireren; dat is altijd haar droom geweest.
De zelfexpressie is nu gerealiseerd. Het boek bestaat, ik heb het in mijn handen en jij kunt het bestellen. En dan hoop ik dus dat het jou als lezer inspireert en doet glimlachen van plezier of vanwege een inzicht dat doorbreekt.

With some delay in the last week (got me a bit nervous), it's happening now! The girl that already wrote long stories in primary school, like The Skating Competition (see photo), has now published a real book. That makes me profoundly happy. On the back of the book it says: Self-expression through writing, and possibly inspiring readers; that has always been her dream.
The self-expression has now been realised. My book exists, I hold it in my hand and you can order it. I hope it might inspire you and makes you smile, because of the humour in it, or because some insight is breaking through.
